Curious as to how many people here have Reduce motion on or off.

I recently went to On and I like it better. No animation, just a fade.. I tested my 6 Plus next to my Air 2 and apps open faster on my 6 Plus.

Off. Weather animations (in the stock weather app) do not work with Reduce Motion on. Which defeats the purpose of Weatherboard (a jailbreak tweak that puts the weather app animations on your springboard).

I have the setting off as well. The animations don't bother me. In fact, I kind of like them, especially the Weather ones!

On (both 6+ and Air2)
Turned it on when iPhone 6 was released, one of many changes to try to get better performance on 8.0. Didn't impact performance but i really like this better (used android devices for many years and always has animations off).

Off. Weather animations (in the stock weather app) do not work with Reduce Motion on. Which defeats the purpose of Weatherboard (a jailbreak tweak that puts the weather app animations on your springboard).
I didn't notice that, I use Beweather.

On. Not a big fan of animations, especially with movement/zooming type of effects. Not sure if it affects the timing of it all, but feels like it might be somewhat faster with fading vs. movement (could mostly be a placebo effect though, which is fine).

I do wish it was possible to turn springboard off but have the parallax icon thing still on.

Because of springboard, I have reduced motion on.

I have reduce motion on and also reduce transparency on. I find everything works smoother and faster on my 6 Plus. Gets a bit more battery life as well.
