just today I was on my iPhone 6S and when I opened and closed apps I noticed my phone was acting like reduce motion was turned on. I have it off and when I turned it on, nothing changed. In fact my phone was snappier than it's ever been. I knew it had to be a glitch so I restarted my phone and it's back to normal. The funny thing is, it was much faster than the usual speed. Has anyone else experienced this? It would be nice if Apple made it this fast in a future update.

Yes, I noticed this but couldn't put my finger on exactly what was going on. Restarting the phone set it back to normal but it was really snappy, which I liked. I want that as a default, screw the animations.

The other day my iPhone 6 started using the new iOS 9 animation (app smoothly slides in from the right) for every time I tapped on an app on the home screen.

Something seems to be weird with the springboard animations, randomly just doing what they want. I just want that delay to be gone that occurs after you tap an app. It's better in iOS 9.1 but it still isn't great. Even there on iPhone 6S, just not as pronounced.
