Reduce signatures clutter

To reduce clutter, can signatures only be displayed once per page? That way would reduce a lot clutter and still allow people to have their signatures.

What do you folks think?
 
Are we worried about clutter? I don't see how you would do that, and it would pretty much mean why have signatures at all, since you'd not see them.
 
I worry about pointless posts more than signature clutter where people insist on posting their inventory of crap.
 
I don't understand why this is a huge issue? Pointless posts would seem more worthy of attention. Also, it would seem like people's signatures would get rather lost and we would have two threads a week on why is person x's signature showing, but not mine.

It's not an issue, just that it may help to reduce clutter; just seeing that we're being asked to shrink signatures and all (which I'm fine with).

Actually, the complete opposite is true. They just increased the code and character limits for signatures. They only reduced the font size. Check it out here.
