reeder local syncing without google reader RSS account

I see the iOS app has local syncing so you don't need a feedbin account.

I can't see the option in the reeder app - presumably it can't do this and no google reader is abandoned, this is a useless app?

The Mac app? Dev has pulled the mac app until the new version is out.

I thought so. Went to the App Store to download it and couldn't find it. Thought it was just me. The twitter page reads it might not be out again for months!!

They will release a new version sometime soon, but no eta atm.
