So, 3 new devices listed. One without a monitor, new Mac Mini rebranded as iMac or headless iMac?????

Since the computer is within the iMac's monitor where would it be in a headless iMac? Interestly, MacRumors also posted this headline 8 hours ago: Apple Will Not Debut New iMac, 8GB iPhone 5s at WWDC

No love for the mac mini again?

So many people I know use them as servers - you know what would have been a better purchase than Beats - Apple going out to buy Drobo and provide a turn key raid/server solution and maybe replacing the linux OS with an 'iOS for servers' along with making Core Storage more sophisticated - maybe use an A7 or A8 processor in there as well.

Now that's a good idea!

Really though, aside from maybe updated mobile versions of either NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon GPUs and the updated Thunderbolt controller chip to bring Thunderbolt 2 support, and maybe a price-drop, what else can we expect in updated iMacs at this time? It's not like we're getting Broadwell THIS early.

imac 2007 crashed

Still very happy with the iMac 2009 i7, maxed out with 16Gb and 256 SSD. I never owned a computer that long. I just don't see the need to upgrade any time soon.

Until Apple forces me with OSX 10.10 that won't support my current iMac.

What do you use yours for mostly? Composing music, I get excited (except right after I have purchased an imac) every time they boost processing power as processing in real time, rendering and file exporting will be faster, and complex compositions will not slowdown the computer.

My 2007 24inch just couldn’t handle it anymore and died last year!
I'm saving up and looking forward to even more power in a potential October update

I was toying with the idea that, SSD become standard, price drop and I know this sounds very silly, but what if they produced 2 options, one ARM in house and still offer Intell as an option. The ARM would be available in a quad or double quad and the Broadwell announcement for November release.

You don’t have to make a switch, you would only want to based upon stats vs. one or the other AND the issue that come with ARM were creatively solved with new technology and corresponding internal hardware.

I think the yes/no answer to the question of whether apple pulled it or not has now become more complicated.

The delta beta update is still available to developers through the mac app store as well as the direct link on apple's developer forums.

But to complicate the situation, it now seems that the combo beta update is no longer available through the mac app store.

But I still maintain that even this hasn't been "pulled" because the direct link for that is still working.

What is strange though is that the combo file size for this 10.9.4 beta is 480.2MB whereas the combo for 10.9.3 on apple's website is 947.2 MB.

Why would a 10.9.4 combo be about half the size of a 10.9.3 combo? That's very weird. I know apple do weird things from time to time, but that might be too weird even for apple!

I suspect that apple may make a better combo for this beta before the next beta is released.

So the answer to the question of whether the beta was pulled is still no, but as for the combo, this may get a new version soon.

I was right. Apple now have a new version of the combo.

The new combo link (956.1MB this time which sounds much better than the much smaller one they had before which obviously had stuff missing - but I don't know what) is now on apple's developer forums.

It is a very slightly higher build (13E9a) so if you already installed build 13E9 somehow (other than with the old combo link or via the mac app store with 10.9, 10.9.1 or 10.9.2), you don't need it.

I would however recommend that anyone who installed it from the old combo link or via the mac app store with 10.9, 10.9.1 or 10.9.2, download this and REINSTALL the combo from the new version.

The delta link is the same, so there is no problem with that one. If you updated to 10.9.4 build 13E9 with the delta link or mac app store with 10.9.3, you should be OK.

This definitely looks a high res 4K model with added GPU acceleration on 2 models and a standard 2K display entry model, it would make complete sense!

I suspect it'll be a cheap entry-level model (perhaps 21") and then two higher performance models, perhaps 21 and 27" or perhaps a 27" standard definition and a higher priced 27" or 28" 4K?

I just canceled my recent order of a fully loaded 2013 iMac. Hope I made the right decision. Hopefully it won't just be a budget iMac to be announced on Monday!

Actually, it makes some sense, to call the Mac mini and iMac ... after all it should be in the same family.

I wonder however, how thin/small it will be (if you look at the actual iMacs) ... OMG.

Part of me is excited for a new iMac, and a part of me is a bit scared that the resell value of my Dec 2012 iMac will decrease by a huge amount :S

Of course it will. I have a December 2012 iMac and I couldn't care if the resale value does drop. I didn't buy it as an investment.

Same here, but found my BTO video card wasn't up to the latest games and my cad rendering, so upgraded to the latest 27" maxed out BTO. Feels just the same in everyday use, but my renders are about 10x faster and games can run at max everything.... Thought about just upgrading the video card to a later one, but instead my daughter got a nice present :)

I'm the dude - that's what they call me ;)
