Did anyone try installing rEFInd Boot Manager while on Mojave? I just tried after years of not using a boot manager and although the installation was successful through terminal and an "EFI" volume showed up on my Desktop, I ran into issues when I rebooted. The rEFInd boot screen did show up after the reboot but I could only access the Boot Camp partition while the Mac one wasn't even there.

I then proceeded to reboot back into MacOS and I am not sure how to solve that issue.

Does anyone have an idea on how to do that? SIP is disabled from before the installation. The EFI volume is not there anymore, by the way.

Thanks

EDIT: Boot Camp ended up overriding the default boot preferences but I was able to reset it and "bless" rEFInd and now it is the default boot option again. As you can see in the screenshots below, the Mac partition isn't showing up, and my only option is to reboot and hold ALT to get back into it. If it stays that way, I'll probably remove rEFInd but I would rather try and fix that issue first if at all possible.

@chscag You could be right. When I was doing a fresh installation of Mojave, I chose "Extended" as my file system but it automatically converts itself to APFS and I believe that has been happening since High Sierra but I am not quite sure about that, I just remember reading it somewhere.
