I just reformatted my hard drive, and GarageBand is MISSING!!!!!!

HOW DO I REINSTALL IT WITHOUT DELETING ANYTHING ON MY COMPUTER????

Any advice would be appreciated. :)

Also, ever since I first got my computer, OS9 has not worked on it. Any suggestions?

Is Garageband the only app that's missing? Do you have the iLife discs? If not, then it may be on your restore discs although your machine may be a little old. You could use Pacifist to try and find it on the restore discs.

As for OS9, are you talking about Classic?

Two things:

  • Are you sure you didn't uncheck it during the install procedure?
  • Did your machine originally come with Garageband or did you have to install it later?
  • How is Pacifist not working.
  • I clearly cannot count.
