Refresh Rate...

Just a general question about refresh rates. I am attempting to use a 19" LCD on my G5 w/ a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. At a 60 Hertz, there is some definate redraw action going on. At 70 Hertz, looks like a champ. But, at 1440 X 900, 70 Hertz just is not an option. I can get this at 1024 X 768, but it kind of defeats the purpose of my 19" LCD. Is there anyway to have the 70 Hertz activated? Thanks.

if it isn't available, then no there isn't a way.

it's either your LCD not supporting it, or your card (and I'm guessing it's your card, judging from http://ati.amd.com/products/radeon9800/radeon9800prome/specs.html).

It is the 9800 Pro Special Edition. I think it just may be the monitor.

Correct. Response time and input lag are important to an LCD, but refresh rate doesn't mean anything.
