I have an iPad. I downloaded a software from Apple App Store, only to find that it was for iPhone with the small screen.

I completed a form on line and submitted to Apple App Store for a refund but only to be told to contact the software company. I emailed the software company, who told me to contact Apple App Store for the refund. I’m getting the runaround.

Anyone else has experienced this kind of runaround? Any suggestion as to how I can get a refund either from Apple App Store or the software company?

I did the same thing once. Apple told me, wait till charge posts, then request refund. I also didn't use the app, and removed it right away. Once I requested refund a few days later, it was honored.

How much was the app? If it's only a dollar I'd just leave it. Why go through the hassle for a buck? It's really not worth it.
