    Basically the same systems except:

    i7:
    1066 bus
    4850 512mb video card

    i5:
    1333 bus
    5750 1gb video card
    sdxc

    Other than that, it's i7 vs i5.

Which is better? Price is about the same

Depends on the use. RAM is faster on the i5 version, so is the GPU (10-20% faster).

The i7 on the refurb has HT, the i5 don't. They run at same clock speed. 2.8ghz.

I would anyway go for the new one, they seem to plagued by less issue then the 2009 model thus far.

Thats what I was thinking and of course I already bought the i5 so I'd have to pay the restocking fee which would blue but it would bring the price slightly more for the i7
