Refurb iPhones OK?

Hi all, I am looking to buy a refurbished iPhone 4 from AT&T because I sold my 3GS. Are these safe to get? Has anyone had experience with them? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know if this helps but I originally purchase my first iPhone (iPhone 3G) through AT&T and it was a refurb. I had ZERO issues with the phone. The one I received didn't have any defects at all.

I can't speak for everyone but mine was a very good purchase. I had that phone for well over a year with no issues.

I got a iPhone 4 refurb. Comes with apples 1 year warranty! This phone came brand new basically just in a AT&T box. I say go for it!

I just bought a 16gb refurbished iPhone 4 from AT&T last month and I was happy with my purchase. The phone looked brand new and didn't any scratches. Can't complain.
