Hi, my refurb MacBook pro I ordered is supposed to have leopard on it and I am buying snow leopard for it. I am going to upgrade before putting any of my stuff on it though, should I do a wipe of the hard drive and install or just upgrade? I want whichever one that would be faster (in terms of speed of the computer).

If you're getting a refurb, the HDD will have a fresh install of the OS on it. I would wait to get SL until you get the computer, as it may have SL on it already. I haven't seen any refurbs on there recently that were old enough to have come with leopard. But if it doesn't, I don't think it would make much difference if you erased or upgraded as far as speed goes
