Just curious, do I get an iPod with a Refurb purchase?

I was gonna go with the 13" MBP, but if I can get the previous gen MBP 15 with the 9600 GT for the same price I'll take that if I get the iPod touch too, to sell of course. I dont have time to wait on hold for apple, so I figured this would be the quickest way to find out.

    Thanks in advance.

You can only get an ipod with the purchase of a new mac.

You also do not get an education discount on refurb computers.

If you buy a new 15" Pro and sell the iPod you should end up paying a pretty good price. Probably comparable to the 15" refurb right?

But refurbs are almost always cheaper, sometimes much cheaper, than the edu discount.

Refurbs offer the best value you can get for Macs; as such, the other discounts don't apply. So, forget printers and iPods, but you get a computer that is as new, has been individually tested, has Apple's warranty/guarantee and comes with a considerable discount.

    Cheers
