All iPads Refurbished Apple care question

If I buy an Apple refurbished iPad Air from Apple, will I be able to buy AppleCare with it?
I'm afraid the answer is no, I searched the forums for Apple Care and refurbished but couldn't find both items in one post.

Yes you can get Apple care for it. I got it with my daughters refurbished iPod touch.
