Anyone bought one? The price of them looks so tempting, £1169 for a 27"! Do they come in mint condition? Not damaged?

Yeah i am going to get a refurb after the upcoming update whenever that is but i have read alot about :apple: refurbs and i have not heard anything bad about them everyone seems to have got their refurb in great condition and for the saving that an iMac refurb brings i think its a great idea.

Do a forum search....there's a dozen or more threads talking about refurbs.

All my Apple products, except my iPhone, have been refurbs.

Have had a 13" MBP refurb (xmas present for my brother) and a 21" iMac (parents computer) both perfect.

The only difference is you don't get the flashy new box, just a plain old white box (and who cares).

When I order my new iMac it is going to be a refurb.

I just got a 27" refurbished and it was DOA, would constantly reboot over and over and over again.....tried everything under the sun to fix it besides taking an axe to it.....But Apple came through for me and has overnighted me another refurbished machine....Once I get it Monday or Tuesday I will send this one back.....Hopefully I just got a a bad apple....
