Refurbished MacBook Air M2 rattling when I type

Hey all,

I have just unpacked by refurb from "Refurb" and there is this annoying sound while I type on the keyboard or tap on the frame of the bottom case of the MacBook Air.

When I balanced the MacBook Air on one hand and type with the other one, the noise is largely gone. It almost seems like the Mac is too hollow in the middle (when I turn it upside down) and then the backplate is just rattling. It's terribly annoying. The screws seem all perfectly tightened.

What can I do?

Might try pressing down on the bottom case. On many Macbooks there are little snaps that help hold the case in position. Pressing a little might make the snaps snap into place assuming they're currently not snapped in place.

You could also return the unit for refund.

You could also open the bottom case and look around for anything obvious. But this may void an agreement with the seller, resulting in inability to return the item, possibly. You'd need one of those special torx screwdrivers I think.
