the MB to me is way way way too small and not having a bezel kind of hurts when I tried to type on it.

as for refurbished. I have sene them cheaper new in certain places then apple has them refurbished. Also most the time you go to an apple store and say you are a student they just give you the discount. Isn't student discount cheaper then refurbished?

Apple doesn't have refurbs yet. I've seen used ones on sites like eBay though they aren't much of a discount. The best price on one right now would probably be a new one through Best Buy with a movers coupon or student coupon. As for the screen size, if you value the portability and weight I'm sure you'll be fine. I went from an 11" Air to a 13" MacBook Pro and missed the small size and weight so I ended up switching back.

Best Buy usually have the best prices. I have seen the base model on sale for $900 very often, plus you can use a mover's coupon for extra 10% off and if you are student with an .edu email and are lucky, some Best Buys will let you double stack the student discount with the mover's coupon.

Base model is $900

256Gb model is $1100
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/apple-m...lver/1581903.p?id=1219056465164&skuId=1581903

Use the $100 off student discount or 10%off mover's discount

The 11" models are also on sale for $100 less.
