Interesting. Mini and Studio have been greyed out forever. Base model however is still 509. Not much discount. Costco had a sale for 500 shortly after release.

Yeah, Apple refurbs are typically 15% off. If you get the Educational or Military discount, you get even more off.

I believe it's one or the other. I don't think the edu discount can be combined with refurbished ones.
I know the Military/Veterans discount can be used on Refurb items that are 15% off. I've combined them many times. I've heard the edu discount works too with Refurb items also.

I qualify for the military discount too. I am pretty sure you see the same price on refurbished products whether or not you're signed in for the military discount. So though it might appear that you're getting a discount, everyone is paying the same price.

That's not so for the veteran's discount.
It can definitely be combined.
I know because I bought a Mini by using it.

I did this:
- signed into the veteran's discount page (using IDme)
- sign-in drops you back to Apple, on a new page with veteran's discounts pre-calculated
and then...
- scrolled to bottom, where the link to "certfied refurbished" still appears
- clicked on that link, and was taken to a new refurbished page where ADDITIONAL discounts (for refurbs) were now offered.

I bought my m4 Mini (32gb, 1tb) for just shy of 25% off the "new, retail" pricing.

What sort of total price was that if you don't mind my asking?
I have access to Veterans discounts and have never thought to apply it to refurb pricing ... it stacks!?

Re reply 12 above:
Price for m4 Mini, 32gb RAM, 1tb SSD was 1,070.

You sign into Apple's veteran's page first, then verify your status as a vet using ID.me.

After that, when you go to sign into Apple, you actually sign into ID.me first and then get transferred back to Apple's "store". Then scroll down and click on the link to refurbished.
