This 'bug' has actually been on here for ages but I never tried to resolve it until now.
Tried iOS 11 beta on iPhone 7+ and iPad, used HEIF and HEVC and both worked fine, and would also transfer over to High Sierra Mac without transcoding.
Some time back it stopped doing this, instead only sending JPGs even though it is still set to High efficiency and Keep originals. Today I tried toggling on and off both settings on new phone (X) and still no difference, its always a JPG. Any ideas?
