Some apps (Comcast Xfinity in my case) don't allow streaming video over AirPlay. I'm wondering if there could be a tweak that would trick apps into thinking its not AirPlaying, but it actually is.
(comcast is a cable tv company, their iphone/ipad app streams archived tv shows and movies, but only on the device. When you try to AirPlay, the TV displays an error message).
Comcast and I think other companies as well don't allow this because it basically removes the need of a cable box, which makes them even less money (comcast charges $7 per box per month for this).
I don't have enough coax outlets in my home to hook another TV up, besides I don't want it for live TV, just for on demand.
