Hello everyone, I have a MBP mid 2010 and I've been trying to connect this new wireless headset I bought through bluetooth, however, every time I press "browse" it tells me "The device does not have the necessary services." The headset i'm using is Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone. Does this mean the headset just doesn't work with the mac? because it works on my Windows 7 desktop...thank you

You have to set it up manually.

Go to "Set Up Bluetooth Device" to set it up manually.
Once it's set up, go to "Devices" in the Bluetooth menu, select the headset and choose "Use as Audio Device"

My problem is I have a BT stereo headphone with microphone. Under BT menu -> Device, it shows up as mono and stereo. If I select stereo, the music sounds great but the microphone doesn't work. If I select mono, the microphone will work but I would have to listen to music in mono. Why can't microphone works with stereo mode?

Because stereo mode is A2DP profile which is designed for listening to music. No mic. Mic is for Headset profile which doesn't include stereo.
