Regarding the webcam

I guess I haven't used the webcam on a MacBook Pro since my 2011. I'm a little surprised they're still so "bad."

For those who know: when was the last time they were upgraded? My references are 2011 MBP and now my 2018 MBP.

Haven’t been updated since 2011. 720p since then.

They've been 'updated' several times, but, largely due to how thin the lid is, there's a physical limit on how good a camera they can put in, I mean, that's why iPhone cameras have the 'bump', so they can stick a better quality camera in than the chassis would otherwise allow.
