Yup, Skype to Skype is free, but it's only $2.00 per month for unlimited Skype calls and they give you your own Skype number.....:cool::cool:

Just go to the website: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/

Download the program. And it'll walk you through registering.

I have it and it works great. But ever since I got Google Voice, I use it much less. Plus Google Voice is free in the US.

The only reason I'm using Skype right now is because iChat's bandwidth is too much for my buddy's iMac to handle video chatting right now. Skype doesn't have that issue because Skype's video quality is a lot worse. For me, anyway.
This is why I'm so excited for Snow Leopard and the reduced iChat bandwidth. :D

I just registered two people for skype accounts.

They requested a skype-to-go number each.

I signed up under each account but both accounts gave me the same number.

On a whim I tried to "add another skype number" to one account in the same area code and it said "nope you already got one this area code"

Is the skype-to-go a generic call in number?

because I see yet another option for "your own skype" number.

I use Google Voice so I haven't kept up with this and The Google is surprisingly useless here. I was hoping to find a genuine skype wiki (vs just an info page).

    links?
