Not gonna lie... I was in bed at 10pm... alarm set for 11:55pm.... it went off... I rolled over and looked at the time...

I was like "meh, I'll be good with the 8 Plus" and went back to sleep.




P.S.

Actually, I never set a preorder alarm and slept till 4am. But I've had regretted not posting something to let the X buyers know I was thinking of them while the alarm on my A11 Bionic 256GB with 3GB Ram 8 Plus was going off at 4am.

Eh, it usually happens but then you suck it up. I think you need to upgrade for a good reason. I, for one, am getting the 8 Plus. But that's because I have a 6+ and this phone is becoming very laggy. So I'm basically getting the 6S and 7 all in one. And I'll be on the 1UP program so I think I'll be fine if I decide I need the X next year.

My only regret is switching to Apple in the first place.. Now I'm damn hooked and waiting for the worlds most expensive smartphone like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. I didn't realize the 256 GB was only $5 more a month with my plan so I'm kicking myself for choosing the 64 GB, but I'm only using 55 GB of my my 128 GB iPhone 7 Plus so it won't be a problem regardless. Just wish they would have made the pricing tiers more known because once I was in, my order was placed in 30 seconds. I didn't have any time to read through the different configurations.

well, you only have 55.6 Gb useable space on a 64gb phone... good luck recording any 4k videos

Got the silver 64 GB. I only use 20 GB on my 128 GB iphone 7 plus with the new file system. Don't need to keep thousands of pictures on my phone and the rest is just music and games.

I wanted to wait until I saw space grey in person but from the videos it looks more like gun metal and the silver looks better. The back will be nice and white and won't show scratches or fingerprints. The space gray does not look like my loved Jet Black so I will skip it this year.

I kind of regret getting the 64. However I am only using 16.95 GB on my 128 7+ thanks to iCloud so I should be ok.

I decided on the silver 256 Gb iPhone X...

1. I need the space for recording videos as I will be using this feature a lot with my business.
2. Both the Silver and Space Gray have the same black front. Only the bezel and back differ. As my iPhone X will be in a case the back color doesn't mater, however the SS bezel will be easy to buff any scratches out...

I myself am second guessing my 3am decision to go with the 64gb even though logic tells me it will be plenty of space.

If it makes you feel better, I got the 256GB option and am second-guessing myself saying 64 would have been plenty. I'm at 100GB/128GB on my 6s.

I was totally serious when I said I was looking forward to the "My X is preparing to ship" followed by the "My X is now in the US" followed by the "My X is at the FedEx Distribution Center" followed by the "My X is on the truck" followed by the "My X just got delivered" followed by the "The Hubble Space Telescope just spotted a scratch on my X I'm going to return it!" threads that will be popping up in the coming days.

I kinda regret ordering an X..... told myself I wasn’t going to do it, woke up this morning and did it anyway when I saw T-Mobile was still shipping launch week.

Glad I’m not alone. And yet I could still cancel my order but can’t bring myself to do it.

I was actually tempted to buy one. Right when i saw how much it cost with Apple care and tax, I stopped myself, closed the app and went to sleep. Actually quite happy with my 8+ and will wait for the X+ next year.
