There’ve been a few discussions but with people’s pro max’s arriving and death of the mini I wondered what everyone was thinking?

I liked the mini because I could pull a rolling suitcase in an airport while texting (for example) but doubt that will be possible with 14 / 14 Pro so, if I’m going to have to use two hands, may as well go full Max.

Not sure.

I have smaller hands, I’m a female. I am fine with the pro max and I don’t yearn for smaller. My eyes need bigger. Also, I use a magnetic pop grip. They look dumb and I turned my nose up at them for a long time. But once I tried a pop socket, I knew I would forever use them. They completely change the way I interact with my phone. The magnetic ones are awesome because they are easily removed for those times that I don’t want to be seen with them 😂

Never got used to my 7 Plus until I got a Pop Socket and then a Quad Lock ring. Still had to use a finger on a second hand or adjust the phone to reach all of the screen with one hand. Getting a iPhone 14 Pro today so looking forward to easier one-handed operation

I have very large hands (23 cm) i find neither the 6.1 nor the 6.7 iphones can be used single handedly without the need for awkward maneuvers like resting the phone on your pinky , and I would be only able to use the lower portion of the screen where the keyboard is , if you wanna go to upper portion i have to let the phone slide down a little in my hands , that happens to me on both phones

so my advice is to care more about what are your needs in terms of battery life for example , if you use your phone heavily then definitely go for the max version , if you dont then go with the pro , and as someone previously mentioned something like a pop socket would help alot

I myself decided to switch to the pro version as i mainly use it for brief calls , sending few emails , light texting , and taking alot of videos and photos , any heavy usage i already do on my ipad pro , so it was better for me to get a higher storage pro version (512GB) than going for a lower storage pro max one

I'm average size - maybe a little shorter, even - and haven't had a problem with it. Ordered a 14 PM as an update to my 12 PM.

True, but 6.1 is way easier to handle than 6.7 although it’s still no 4.7“ display 😁

I don’t have large hands, but I longed for a large iphone. If Apple hadn’t come out with the 6 Plus in 2014, I was going abandon Apple and get a Galaxy Note.

I did try a mini for the nostalgia, but I quickly found that I still hated that small of a device, and I returned it. The 14 Pro is too small for me, too.

The big phones have always been comfortable in my hand and in my pocket weather at the office, running, cycling…everything.

I love having as much text on the screen as possible, big beautiful photos and video: bigger is better for me. Even typing and texting is easier for me on a big phone. I have no problem with two handed operation. I often had to use two hands on the 3GS and 4.

I like big phones 😊

I think it depends more on how you’re going to carry such a massive device around in your day-to-day activities.

I have small hands - I have the larger ones for my eyes LOL.... I was a Note user until the iPhone X came out....

I’ve always had the “normal” size iPhone since the iPhone 6. I went with iPhone 13 Pro Max last year and I’m not going back again. Just love the bigger screen and better battery. I have medium sized hands.

If anyone knows glove sizes, I am a size 7 which is basically a medium sized hand and have no issues with the pro max.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm enjoying learning about everyone's hand sizes.

Popsockets; never got used to them. Never really helped me.

BUT I'm sort of thinking that if I can't use the Pro one handed I may as well get the Pro Max.

Sidenote; I wish there were a setting to switch everything around for left handed people; there are still a lot of things very hard to reach.

I was already using the 13 pro with 2 hands to write. I think that the typing experience with 2 hands is better with the Pro max because the screen is bigger

I’m a female with small hands and have the 14 Pro Max. I use 2 hands to type so I never found any issue there with typing. I can use the Pro Max one handed for certain things. I now only use clear slim cases that barely add any bulk so the extra weight isn’t bothering me. I also rarely carry a purse, so transporting the Pro Max also hasn’t been issue. I wear stretch pants or tight shorts and have had 0 issues carrying my phone outside the house.

I have been using Plus sized iPhones since the 6, and went to the X when it was launched, and it was the most miserable 18 months of my life. The screen and phone was too small for me to use and I waited for Apple to come out with the XS Max and I jumped on that. I then got the 12 Pro Max and now 14 Pro Max. I could never go back to a device smaller than 6.7”
