So I purchased the Reiga black Milanese Loop a few months ago off Amazon. At first, everything seemed dandy, however that is no longer the case. First off, as you can see in the attached photo, the black has begun to wear off. Furthermore, the magnet slips so much now that I refuse to use the band. It. Is. Terrible. And I don't say that about many products (hell I even love the Galaxy S7 Edge and Android to an extent now). But seriously, don't buy this product unless they update it.

The risk you take when you buy 3rd party bands versus the Apple experience and ease of returning them and support they supply.

Before being attacked, I also buy 3rd party pants at a significant discount but also know that I am taking the risk in doing so.

Thanks for posting a real world review on this one for others to keep an eye out.

I agree with you to an extent. I knew what I was buying and at the time the reviews were very positive. However just because a company isn't named Apple shouldn't render it incapable of making products that work as advertised. If I never bought anything outside the Apple brand, I wouldn't have many of the tools of my trade. Yes, it is a 3rd party band, but no, that doesn't mean the company shouldn't be beholden to quality standards.

Furthermore, there are several of Apple products also aren't of high quality. Take for instance Apple earbuds and Lightning cables. To be of the mindset that only Apple can produce great accessories both does a disservice to quality 3rd party companies and gives Apple a pass for their own poor quality products.

On a related note, I have a leather band and link band out for delivery today, both 3rd party as well, so I'll post small reviews of those as well.

I am not saying that Apple should be the only bands anyone buys as there are definitely viable options outside of apples and at a better cost point. But there is a level of risk when buying a knockoff or replica of any original without the backing and customer service of what apple does hence why some don't mind paying the extra Apple cost.

I hope yours can be returned or sorted out for a new one. No harm meant.

Sure, and I understand that point; I'm the same way on larger purchases, i.e. phone, computer, watch. As for returning/exchanging, I haven't had the time, or rather, the mindset to make an attempt.

thanx for the update on your band! I've been looking for a decent knock off Milanese but I don't want to waste the money of they aren't going to hold up! I now know to take this one off my list of potential bands!
