I've had my 2011 Air for just under a year. Nice machine, but I've replaced it as my main home use machine.

I want to resell it - I've wiped all the data on it but I'm confused about how to best reinstall OS X for resale.

The machine was updated to 10.8. The machine is currently wiped (no OS). If I attempt to use internet recovery it tries to install 10.8 (instead of the 10.7 it came with).

It prompts me for my Apple account presumably to see if I've purchased 10.8.

I have no install media for 10.7 (or 10.8).

I don't care if it gets 10.7 or 8 for resale, the buyer can figure it out - but I don't really want my Apple ID associated with anything in the sale.

I know right now it's saving my WIfi information in the PRAM (?) or whatever because even after an iCloud wipe it could connect for internet recovery.

Is it going to store my Apple ID? Or associate the install with me in any way?

Thanks
