I looked around a little and didn't see anything around here, but I am wondering if anyone knows how to put a keyboard input back onto the computer? A while back I deleted the Japanese input, but now I am going to Japan for a while and think it might be useful. Also, it looks like I need it to study Japanese.

...I need to get going on this because I'm leave in two months and I only started learning this month. Yikes!

Anyone even got an idea? Or even have a thought as to whether this is possible?

Also, is my question clear?

One last plea. Anyone? Should I just reinstall OS X?

EDIT: this was actually pretty easy. if you want something done I guess....

So, to get a keyboard layout:
1) back grab an install disc
2) on the disc go to system -> library -> keyboard layouts
3) on your hard drive open the same folder (system -> library -> keyboard layouts)
4) drag the keyboard layout you'd like from the disc to the hard drive (you'll need admin privs to do this)
