Reinstalling a previous File System???HELP!

Alright-
I did an archive and install on my iMac but now I want to go back to the system I had before this most recent one. I heard I can do this since I haven't deleted the old file system...is this true? Any help would be much appreciated!

Sorry mate, but I'm pretty sure you can't according to Apple.

You cannot start up your computer using a Previous System folder, nor can you "re-bless" the Previous System folder.

What exactly do you want from your old system though? 🙂
