Hey guys I wanna reinstall leopard I have messed it up pretty hard trying to change things around.

Can I partition my HD and then put all my music, videos, and pictures onto the new partition, reinstall leopard on the old partion?

Will reinstalling leopard overwrite both partitions, and will the bootcamp still work?

Thanks

Yes, you can repartition your existing drive in Leopard:

You should be able to choose which partition to install Leopard onto, so the other one will be safe. Bootcamp should be unaffected.

I recently made a fresh install of Leopard myself, and kept a detailed blog about it (and the applications and macports I installed) here:

Maybe you will find it interesting or useful :)

Hey thanks for the help, I just partitioned, drag my home folder to the new partition, reinstalled leopard on the old partition, then drag my home folder back and repair permissions.

Thanks
