Reinstalling W/O rewrite HDD/SSD memory.

Been thinking about it. My MB 5.1 is slow now D:

Is there any chance i can reinstalling w/o backup the HDD first? Because my Ex-HDD is BROKEN.

Of course you can unless you cannot afford $50 (or less for a s/h disk) in which case you have bigger problems than a slow Macbook and once you've wiped out your photos, music and data,you'll have even more problems, like how to afford a data recovery program.
