Amen to that!! My dilemma at the moment is trying to decide between iPad (which is way more fun and interesting to play with) or Macbook Air (which is much more practical but not as fun to use.
I think we could see notification of a live event... if there's iPad, iLife, and iWork updates along with the MBA update. Seriously though, I am looking for a 7" iPad before Christmas. And why not update the MBA when having the press conference. I am watching for an update, but I would like to see some more rumors very soon if it's going to happen during 2010.

Would be an idea like Balmer showed at CES last year. It was a tablet that the display could come out and use as tablet or could run Windows as a computer.
Great idea, and a way for Apple to sell OS X and iOS products at the same time. Imagine the MBA and the iPad 11.6" is the display, it snaps out/in and the MBA is the real keyboard, real CPU, real everything SSD, and etc. with 8 GB RAM and GPU.
I could dig that idea... but it would need to be at least 11.6" for that, and I still would much prefer a 13". However, I think I could live with it for a dual purpose both OSes device. If done right, it could be cool.
