All the rumors say October. That's as accurate as the rumors are.

Mavericks is most likely about a month away from being released. I feel you when you say that it is annoying having to set-up the MBP, only to update it soon after. Gotta do what ya gotta do though

I'm gonna guess it will be released as soon as the new Mac Pro comes out.

I believe Apple has a quarter financial conference call in October, and in the last few years, the new OSX update came the day after.
