It might be too late, but for now you can download the jailbreak app on iTunes. That means that it should never expire!

[Release] PPJailbreak on the AppStore

Snagged from a reddit post.

EDIT: The App Store listing is misleading, and the app is NOT what is shown in the App Store.

and it's allready pulled by Apple again.

Cant believe this app made it to the Apple Store....haha.
It was live for about 2 hours after release. Now you can not even use even if you downloaded while it was live in the Apple Store.

How does that work? What keeps it from working if you already downloaded it?
I was bummed that I missed out on it, but if this is true I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

If you already downloaded it from the App Store, you should be OK. If you missed it, then you have to keep the 7 day or 1 year cert. It works exactly the same as the old one, but no cert needed. Somehow, somebody messed up and approved it on the App Store.

Managed to snag it in time. :)

I wonder why MacRumors did not make an article on this while other major news sources did.

How much did Apple pay them? ;) /s

I have noticed that lately news hits MacRumors very late. I was on the new JB for a couple days before I even saw it mentioned here.

even though i think we'll be fine after april 2017 (I forwarded the date and rebooted-- still worked), i grabbed PG client

Couldnt hurt to have future proof/paranoia wind down with this, for my iPhones (iPP 9.7 wont work with it, its older 9.3.3 JB before they updated compatibility)

I don't think I'll keep my jailbreak until April 2017 (the expiration date of the certificate with the provisioned PPJailbreak app) but having PG Client definitely relieves some anxiety you have with the provisioned app which Apple could kill somehow (pure speculation).

agreed, iOS 10 jb will likely be out before then, but anxiety as keyword :D

iPad pro 9.7 doesn't work with PG Client, but thats ok. got the SE/6s plus with it , mobile phones is a lot more of a concern for me. on tablets JB is really really nice but not as essential

Try following these instructions. I am not sure if its still working. Basically you log into a throw away account that someone created.
