Available on the modmyi repo on cydia!

Contains 60+ icons, Tested on iphone 5 - 6.1.2. Inspiration comes from a NRF theme I found on Deviant Art. I'm taking icon request at the moment, but keep in mind that I work and may not have time to get them done until the evening or on my weekends. Feedback is welcome 🙂

I've tried creating a psd, But for whatever reason I can't get it to work. The vintage effect is just a photoshop action, and it automatically merges them once the action is complete.

I'm currently using the marvelous theme. It too is limited on icons, but that's ok as I don't clutter my iPhone with (for me) needless apps (that's what an iTouch is for).

I take it the 40 themed icons are the stock ones, so far.

Almost all of the stock icons are themed (all but news stand, calculator, and folder icon), I also have battery doctor pro, icleaner, springtomize, podcasts, twitter, facebook, good reads, google maps, usaa, us bank, winterboard, waze, skype, instagram & get glue themed as well.
 
Great theme !! Despite the lack of icons , it's just awesome !! And I suggest that you should post this theme on MMi cuz that's where the talk about themes mostly is !! Anyways great work ^^
PS : if you create a PSD please share it !! I'll be more than happy to take a go at creating these icons ! 🙂
 
Update!

Added about 9-10 more icons
Included the icon mask so ALL of the icons are square
Added two wallpapers, one for iphone 4/4s & iphone 5
Added an Icon tutorial with all the tools need to make you're own icons

Some questions:

--the icon tutorial mentions resizing images for 118x120 icons, but doesn't for 114x114. Does the icon frame provided account for that somehow and all icons should be made at the System/Cydia larger size, or should we be making app store icons at the 114x114 size, as usual? (I'm assuming 114x114, but either way, this should be clarified for those making icons for the first time.)

--Recommended font size isn't listed in the tutorial. What size should be used to match the icons included in the download?

--Folder icon? 🙂 I went ahead and used one of the ones I used to use for Glasklart HD in the screenshot below.

--Info.plist may be needed by some to adjust calendar text. I preferred mine in white, and had to nudge it a bit to position it correctly. I've attached the one I used in case it's of use to anyone else...you may need to tweak it if your system font differs from mine (Font shown is iMatte Neutraface.)

Loading is pretty easy if you have iFile, actually. From the phone, click on the link in Safari. It will take you to a Dropbox page. Click on Download. It will open a new page. In the upper right, click on Open in iFile. When iFile presents you with a menu of options, select Unarchiver. This will unzip the file and put it in your var/mobile/documents folder.

Or you can download to your computer & use iFunbox, PhoneView, or other software to move files onto your phone.

Either way, from this point, you'll copy/paste or cut/paste the unzipped file into your themes folder (var/stash/Themes.xxxx--the last four digits are different for everyone).

Open Winterboard and the theme will be at the top. Select it (deselect any other icon themes) and respring.

That looks awesome IrishVixen! Sorry it took a little bit to reply, I just got home from work 🙂

1) The tutorial works for both app store icons and cydia icons. instead of resizing the image to 118 or 120, resize them to 114.

2) Usually 8pt is fine. Sometimes for whatever reason my fonts will end up a different size for different images in photoshop. So for one image, 8pt is fine, but i'm stuck using 18pt for others. Basically it should fit in the black bar without look too small, but it shouldn't expend past the black bar at all.

3) I haven't decided what I want to do with folders yet. Part of me wants to go with the folder icons route, but i'm still not 100% yet.

4) Good call. I've been meaning to do something with the calendar icon text. Do you prefer having it show the date or no? I haven't decided if I want to remove it completely.

And Thank you for telling braddick how to install the theme manually. Once I get all of the kinks worked out I'm going to release it on cydia.

No worries about replying. People are allowed to have lives outside this place. Mostly. 😀

I'm personally not a folder icons girl (as evidenced), though I know some people are. I'd vote for both. Options are always good, even if Apple doesn't think so.

Ditto with the calendar date; I always display mine as that's one less thing I have to display in widgets if I want a very clean setup. I'd probably say to provide two plists, one that supplies the date and one that doesn't, and include brief instructions for those who don't know what to do with them.

They look great! However 🙁 I just realized that I forgot to put into the tutorial to set the font as "crisp" so that the letters are a little skinnier. Totally my fault. If you saved them as a .psd just open them back up and make the change.
