Reliable CD ripping tool

Hi, I'm using iTunes to rip CDs, but it is really unreliable. It crashes, hangs, imports music incorrectly, etc. I have imported the same CDs on Linux without problems, so it's not the CDs' fault.

Can anybody recommend a reliable CD ripping tool for the Mac?
