I'll be traveling overseas for 1 month and I'd like to use a SIM card of a local carrier.
AT&T doesn't let me to unlock it temporarily for that, and I'm not looking to jailbreak it right now, so I guess my only option is to use some privately owned websites to unlock it for like $50.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I've found this from AT&T's website: https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/

Do you meet any of those requirements? If so AT&T will unlock the iPhone for you.

I did mine through chronic unlock

If you have any line on your plan that's off contract you should be able to unlock via AT&T online. Use your IMEI and the phone # of the off contract line. This worked for me just last month.
