    Hello all,

I unlocked my phone using Ziphone awhile back and I would like to lock it back up and legitimize it. Ziphone has a "refurbish" feature, is that it?

I just want Installer gone and everything back to the way it was OTB.

    Thanks in advance.

A regular itunes restore would be probably be enough for your needs, but if you want you can use the refurbish option also, which basically is a DFU restore.

Thanks, my only question is wouldn't the iTunes restore erase everything like contacts and stuff?

Well I'm selling my phone in a few days so I will eventually be doing that but my screen wasn't responding for about 10 minutes and scared the hell out of me so I just want to undo the jailbreak just to be safe.

If I do do the iTunes restore, since all of my contacts are backed up, would I be okay?

If your contacts are on your computer, the yes. Restore and re-sync and you are good to go. (You will lose your notes however, be sure to copy the important ones). Also transfer camera pictures into you computer before a restore.

Word of advice. When you sell your phone. Don't use ZiPhone to unlock it again. The problem with the touchscreen might be a result of that program, and if it happens to the new owner, you are going to get a chargeback.

    Pwnage?

The touch screen wasn't the problem, it was just the fact the phone wasn't responding... it wouldn't come from sleep, wouldn't respond to holding the sleep/wake and home buttons, only came back when someone called and i threw it on the charger.

I'm not good at all this stuff and the Pwnage seemed a little confusing for me, Ziphone is really easy and was fine for months without a problem.

Pwnage literally pwns ZiPhone. Trust me, it's not that complicated. And if you aren't prepared to do the research involved with unlocking your phone you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.
