Hi folks. I'd like to remap command q to command h so instead of quitting applications i'm hiding them instead. I'm really use to using command q so i'd rather just remap than start using command h for the function. Help please. Thank you in advance!

You should be able to achieve this by changing the keyboard shortcuts inside the keyboard System preferences pane. Click on the shortcuts tab to make changes. You can also make a new keyboard shortcut rule for all applications by clicking on the app shortcuts option on the left, click the + button select all applications and enter in your new keyboard shortcut.
