Reminder Notification Twice

One of my reminders is set to go off every other day. When I am using the phone and the reminder shows up, two banner notifications come up back to back. How do I stop this? Same with my Apple Watch.

I have this problem using the native alarms app. I can dismiss or snooze the first alarm notification. The second one I can only dismiss. It's very annoying and I hope they fix it soon.

I'd imagine an alarm is more annoying than a reminder notification too!

I haven't noticed it for Reminders, but I'm using a third party app (Due) for reminders. Maybe this is a native app thing for alarms and reminders? I do use the native alarm app.
