I have set up monthly reminders, it makes a beep at the set time but doesn't show up in the reminders app until the iphone is restarted. Any fix or this?

What do you mean doesn't show up in the reminders app? The whole reminder is just not there when you go into the app? Are you on the right reminder list within the app that has that particular reminder?

I am talking about the default reminder app which shows a number on the top right corner at the set time. Its makes a beep at that time but doesn't display a number on the app.

Ah, so the badge notification. That's fairly common. It shows up sometime later, either due to a bug of some sort or some logic that applies to it.

There might be something like a 15 minute timer that loops and checks apps for badge count. This could cause a delay in the badge showing up.

Interestingly enough, if you select the reminder in the notification screen when it alerts you, then close the reminders app the badge will show up immediately afterwards. Sorta useless unless you view your reminder and don't dismiss and just want the badges there to alert you that there is a reminder you need to dismiss. And I agree there seems to be some time period that passes that it will finally appear without doing anything. This has been an issue since iOS 6.

Sometimes the reminder appears after 2-3 days saying its overdue!!! I have to remind myself to restart the iphone to get the badge icon on the reminder app ;)
