Hello sorry if this is a simple question, I'm not too computer savvy let alone MAC savvy.

I was wondering if I would be able to remote access my lost laptop if the administrator account has been deleted. Being absent minded I left my bag at the bus station and I figure who ever has found it is keeping it by now since I haven't gotten a phone call yet and it's been over a week. :(

Not unless you've programmed it or installed software in advance anticipating that it might be stolen. Think of having a cordless phone (not a cell phone) stolen. You might be able to recover it, but you have no idea what phone number to dial. It's the same deal here.

That said, have you checked with your transit authority's lost and found? I've lost quite a few things on buses over the years, albeit nothing as large as a laptop, and have always been able to recover them by going to the lost and found.
