I have found a description for remote access of files saved on a Time Capsule at home.

http://forums.dealmac.com/read.php?4,2800627

Has anyone tried this? Does this really work?

What about security? What about the risk that hackers might get access to files on Time Capsule or even copy or destroy them.

I am not an expert in such thing, hope you can help.

Or do you have another suggestion how to access files on time capsule without any risk for my files to by hacked.

I have done this and it does work. I'm not too sure about the security, but having passwords set will offer a layer of security. If somebody can hack the Pentagon, then no home server is completely safe from hackers, so I'd say you have to decide for yourself if the convenience of remote access to your files is worth the risk.
