Hey guys,

I've searched the forums and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

At home, I'm running two notebooks. One older Powerbook G4 and the other a MBP.

Currently, the PB is hooked up to the sound system in the living room and using the Remote App through iTunes is a breeze and it works flawlessly. However, I'm wanting to play the music from my MBP through the PB via a shared library set up.

I've read multiple threads on inquiries about the Apple TV but none so far through another notebook/desktop set up. As most of you know, right off the bat, the Remote App doesn't see shared libraries. Does anyone out there know of a way to allow someone like me to stream the music from my MBP through my PB (which again is connected to the sound system in the living room).

Much thanks to everyone that provides a possible solution! :) :apple:

You should replace the PB with an Airport Express for your audio connection, then you could connect to either system with remote app, and set them to use the remote speakers to play.

That's the easiest way I can think of doing it.
