Remote App - Extra Apple TV showing

For awhile now there has been one extra Apple TV showing up in my Apple Watch Remote App. The extra TV has the same name as one of my other TV's, it is greyed out and when I click on it, it says it can't connect. My iPhone does not show this extra TV in its remote app. When I force press and try to remove the TV it does not allow it to be removed because it says it can't connect. Force closing the app and restarting does not work.

This little issue is driving me nuts.

Anyone else have this problem? Any other possible solutions that I haven't tried? FYI: I do not want to wipe and re-pair the Watch for this minor issue.

Can you call up the remote app and slide left on the device to unpair?

Never mind the above.

I had to uninstall the watch remote app, restart both the iphone and watch. then readd the remote app to the watch

Watch.app > Remote > Show App on Apple Watch (off) and it’ll uninstall.

Yeah I can’t find it. Are you really able to remove the app and put it back on? I’m sure that would fix my issue.

With other apps you certainly can!
