Remote Control application, built-in

Maybe I am just missing something here. After all, I am newish to macOS.
Is there not an official built-in Remote control application by Apple, like Microsoft's RDP? Surely there is right, and I just don't know what am looking for.

Thoughts...

PS: Sorry, I should have been clearer. Mac Mini to MacBook Pro - just because' nothing I need per sé.

I think you're looking for Screen Sharing.

Turn Mac screen sharing on or off

On your Mac, turn on screen sharing to allow another Mac on your network to view your screen.

That article is about the Mac whose screen is to be shared. Once you have it setup, then go to the other Mac where you want to access the "remote" one from.
