Remote desktop from Mac air to linux

    Hi, i want connect and remote desktop from my mac air to linux via KVM vnc, i use tigervnc, but all time i see only black screen, i am on server but see nothing, only black screen, is another good softtware for this? i have on linux desktop with teamviewer, but it sometimes shut down.

    Don't knows what the problem is but doesn't VNC gives u a couple of scan options? for compatibility purposes. Try them.

    I have two Ubuntu Server 11.10. I just use the normal Screen Sharing app built into OS X. I use x11vnc built into Ubuntu (as long as you select to install the option that is). TightVNC caused me problems.

    if i try tightVNC i always see this - http://d.pr/i/Rc2R
    I use Java version, can you help me?

    I always use screens (http://edovia.com/en/screens.html) no problem VNC'ing to my linux and unix boxes.

    Just make sure you use the right VNC server software on the other side. :)

    i use teamviewer, but i want connect with vnc, if teamviewer get down, i cant connect again via teamviewer

    yes but i want free solution, real vnc is not free, or?
