    Hello everybody

Is there any way that I can connect to an Ubuntu Desktop from my Mac (Desktop sharing)?

    Thanks in advance

You need to install a VNC server on your ubuntu Desktop. This tutorial should explain how.

Once that part is set up, you can try typing ⌘K from the Finder, and in the "connect to server" box enter:

    Code:
    vnc://address.of.your.ubuntu.box
    And try connecting that way.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to install Real VNC Viewer and use that to connect.

I'm pretty sure ubuntu has a built in VNC server, at least under XFCE. You can also try x2go, although it's harder to configure and run on a Mac IMO.

I used x2go from Ubuntu to Ubuntu, but in Mac, I am not sure why it doesn't connect
