Remote desktop to 5K retina iMac

Has anyone established a remote desktop (ie. logmein) connection to a retina iMac from a Macbook?

I suspect there will be significant difference in resolution therefore are you able to scale the retina display down? Also what kind of uplink connection and software was used? Thanks.
