I've been having a lot of fun using splash top to remote into my mac with my iPad pro. but i also wonder how secure something like this is. I mean....its an app that sees all of your information. Is this worth worrying about?

If be interested in the answer to this. Anyone know? I'm not sure about OP, but my wifi is the standard password protected time capsule.

I don't know about Splashtop in particular, but ways of remoting into computers have been around for a while, from before there were iPads. I think if there are security concerns, we'll have heard about them by now.
